will be holding their 3rd Annual Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition
Conference- Navigating Challenges in Pediatric Palliative and Hospice
Care on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at The Desmond Hotel, Malvern, PA from
8:00 am- 4:00 pm. The keynote session, Navigating Challenges in
Pediatric Palliative and Hospice Care, will be presented by Chris
Feudtner, MD, PhD, MPH, Director of the Department of Medical Ethics and
Director of Research for the Pediatric Advance Care Team and the
Integrated Care Service, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Other
sessions of the day include Perinatal Palliative Care: A Balancing Act
in Several Parts, Navigating the Organizational and Clinical Challenges
of Caring for Pediatric Hospice Patients, The People and the Process in
Deciding what is in the "Best Interest" of the Child: Palliative Care
for a Ward of the State, and Medical Marijuana in Pediatric Palliative
